Warranty & Service
All Kyocera printers ship with either a 1-Year Return to Depot or a 1-Year On-site manufacturer warranty. Each printer on this site has their particular warranty stated in the Detail section for that printer. Printers that are Standard Return to Depot have the option of being upgraded to either Express Service or On-Site.
On-Site Service
If service is needed, please contact us on our Toll Free line 888-690-8558. A technician will contact you to make problem determination. If parts are required, they will arrive the following business day. A Field Engineer representing Kyocera will contact you to schedule a service appointment for the day the parts are scheduled to arrive.
Express Warranty Service
For Express Warranty Service, use the following procedure:
a) If you have a printer problem call Kyocera’s Diagnostic Center at 800-255-6482. A RMA (Return Machine Authorization) Number will be issued after reasonable troubleshooing procedures have been attempted.
b) Kyocera offers Express Service for the pritner as long a the user provides a valid credit card number as security.
c) Kyocera will air express replacement printer to the user who will then package the down printer into the carton that the replacement printer came in and return it to Kyocera by UPS Ground to the address provided on the shipping label and take the printer to a UPS drop off point, like Mailboxes Etc., or your local UPS office. Please note; if you call UPS to come and pick up the printer from your site, they will charge a pick-up fee. Kyocera does not refund this fee. The toner container, developer unit, and waste toner bottle are to be removed and packaged separately. Damage caused by toners spills during shipping is not covered under warranty and will be billed to the customer.
d) include a proof of purchase, status page and description (sample) of the problem.
e) If the printer is not received after 7 Business Days, Kyocera bills the customers credit card for the printer at the current suggested retail price.
f) Customer warranty continues based on original purchase date.
Return to Depot Warranty
For the Standard Depot Warranty, use the following procedure:
a) If you have a printer problem, call Kyocera’s Diagnostic Center at 800-255-6482. A RMA (Return Machine Authorization) Number will be issued after reasonable troubleshooting procedures have been attempted.
b) The product is to be shipped prepaid or carried to the Kyocera Depot location (it will be returned prepaid in the same way).
c) Use original shipping carton or suitable packaging. Kyocera will not be responsible for damage caused by improper packaging.
d) Returned products must have the RMA Number clearly displayed on the shipping label. Kyocera is not responsible for items shipped without the RMA Number clearly displayed.
e) Include proof of purchase, status sheet and description (sample) of the problem.
f) The toner container, developer unit and waste toner bottle are to be removed and packaged separately. Damage caused by toner spills during shipping is not covered under warranty and will be billed to the customer.
g) Customer warranty continues based on original purchase date...
**Maintenance Kits are required at scheduled maintenance intervals, at the customer’s expense for labor and parts, for the warranty and maintenance contract to remain valid.**
